I spent more time outside than I have of for a while, thanks to the Minne-RoadTrip coordinators. During my three-day/three city tour in Southern Minnesota, I visited four parks. The rain held off during the entire trip and the weather warmed. At the time the leaves were just starting to turn vibrant colors, but, by now, they should be in full bloom. Here are four places in Southern Minnesota to soak in the fall colors. Run, walk or bike the trails, it’s up to you.
Sometimes it’s nice to simply be outside.

If you’ve ever traveled between the Twin Cities and Iowa along I-35, you may have noticed the Faribault Cheese Cave billboard. This week I took the Owatonna-Faribault-Northfield Minne-RoadTrip.
The Owatonna, Faribault and Northfield’s Convention & Visitors Bureaus graciously hosted me on a road trip to explore their communities.
While Jake and I are grateful to have lived in four Midwestern states within the past six years, Minnesota will always be home. We worked really hard to circle our way back home and so I’m honored to promote travel within Minnesota.
