Dear Readers,
Thank you for connecting with me through my blog and social media channels. I appreciate you for taking the time to read my posts and banter with me.
This blog has been my labor of love for all things food and writing. Since I began blogging in 2011, Jake and I have experienced a lot of life changes and lived in three different states. I’m honored you have joined me as we move around the Midwest. As a small gesture of gratitude, I am giving away two of my favorite things from my newish hometown of Mason City, IA where we’ve lived for almost one year.
One reader will win one 12 oz. bag of coffee beans (Alley Cat House Blend) from my favorite local coffee shop Coffee Cat and a mug made by the owner of Market 124, my favorite local gift shop that features Iowan products. I can have the coffee shop grind the beans upon request.
Enter the giveaway below through the Rafflecopter box between today 06/27/14 and 07/05.2014 at noon.

Well, I already follow you on Twitter, and now I do on Facebook. My most frequently used cookbook? A good old workhorse: The Fannie Farmer Cookbook. Good basic resource.
Thanks Amy! I wanted it to be easy to enter for those who read and follow:) I will need to get that cookbook!
Well, considering I don’t do the cooking in the house…I tend to rely on my friend’s recipe suggestions instead!
That works too!
i have way too many to name that i love and use!! love any by ina garten!!
Her recipes seem to always turn out well.
Better Homes & Gardens and Betty Crocker used to be my favorite. Then I discovered how wonderful church cookbooks are. Lately though, I’ve been going to allrecipes.com for new recipes.
By the way, you posted something about flatbread pizza a few months back. Since I just happened to have some flatbread in the freezer, I’ve used a few pieces of it to make a margherita-style pizza. Thanks for the idea!
Thanks Cathy. I hope it turns out well-sounds good.
Does Pinterest count? Lately that’s where I go for cooking inspiration 🙂
Sure does!
Thanks great giveaway. I use a old cookbook I have with all italian recipes in it. I can’t even remember the name.
Thanks for entering. I love Italian food.
Better Homes and Gardens is my classic go-to…but my Pioneer Woman cookbooks are getting a lot of use lately!
I haven’t made the switch to a Kindle-I’d love to have a real Pioneer Woman Cookbook I can keep next to my cutting board.
I’m a fan! 🙂 I love the mug you are giving away, it is beautiful!
My favorite cook books are the Barefoot Contessa series by Ina Garten (sorry can’t pick just one!) and I also love The Complete America’s Test Kitchen TV Show Cookbook 2001-2010.
Those ATK are great too.
I am looking forward to trying out those recipes!
Betty Crocker’s Cookbook
The 1979 edition I got as a wedding present. It’s held together with a rubber band.
I have a couple like that too. Thanks for sharing.
Favorite cookbook?? That’s a hard one—-probably good ole’ Betty Crocker although I do a lot from magazines, Pinterest, Allrecipes , Rachel Ray and blog posts like yours! 🙂 Fun giveaway. Jeni. I always learn something new when I stop by! 🙂
Thanks for reading:)
What a great idea for a giveaway! Wishing you and your favourite coffee shop lots of new fans!
Thank you:)
I use my Pioneer Woman cookbook frequently, but randomly. However, right now I’m using the Big Backyard Barbecue cookbook a lot. Good sides, sauces, and meat dishes.
We need to get that grill pronto!
Better homes and gardens is my go to.
I don’t cook near enough but when I need a cook book I go to the Joy of Cooking because my mom in-law gave it to me.
